Administration Apprentice

Location: Blackburn

Overall Job Purpose

To provide an efficient and professional reception.


Scope of Job

To give administrative support to a number od departments within Lance Mason.


Main Duties

  • In charge of the Incoming Mail and to ensure that the mail is allocated to the correct employee in a timely manner.
  • To answer calls in an efficient, polite manner and to ensure that Customer focus is always at the forefront of this.
  • To be the First point of contact, for all visitors and clients.
  • To constantly check Facilities and ensure that these are always of the highest standard.
  • To organise all Stationary requests for all employees.
  • To manage all Outgoing Mail and to ensure that it is all franked correctly and sent in a timely manner.
  • Organise all External and Internal requests on the portal
  • To maintain and organise all Meeting Rooms and the diaries for these.
  • To manage and forward all messages received in to Lance Mason's Info account to the relevant employee.
  • To be responsible for maintaining  Lance Mason's recycling and confidential waste facilities
  • To provide administrative support to the core senior management and Leadership Team.
  • Carry out Instructions given by Management and Head Office.






It is the responsibility of each individual job holder to ensure that all duties are delivered in an acceptable manner.


It is the responsibility of the individual job holder and their Line Manager to ensure that all relevant regulatory rules are adhered to and that the individual job holder remains competent in all areas of duties.


It is the responsibility of each Line Manager of the individual job older to ensure that the individual job holder is appropriately supervised, that competence is regularly reviewed, and the level of competence is deemed appropriate to the nature of the job and duties that the individual job holder carries out.
